How to add 3rd instruments to kontakt 5 library

Kontakt Library licence, which most cant afford to do. My midi keyboard will not trigger from that window to be heard in Reaper, and the sound library will not load into the Reaper Kontakt Window.įirst thing: 3rd party instruments will only work in demo mode ( a bit of white noise every 30 seconds) unless the developer has paid for the N.I. Problem is, that new Kontakt 6 window is a standalone instance that is not communicating with Reaper, it is a second instance of Kontakt 6. In that Kontakt 6 Player box, my 3rd party plug-in appears in the left window, I select 'instruments' in Kontakt and when I am asked for the library folder I click on it, and then it opens a new Kontakt window and loads the library. I am able to open Kontakt 6 Player by itself and play libraries but when I try to do this in Reaper, I create a new track in a project, and 'add virtual instrument', 'Arm Track', and then I go to the FX menu and I select 'Kontakt 6 VSTi' and then Reaper opens Kontakt 6.

I've looked at tutorials on how to set up and configure for various channels, but nothing seems to answer my specific problem. I've spent several days trying to figure out how to conquer Opening and Playing 3rd Party Kontakt 6 Libraries In Reaper.
